Ken Rogers, AF4ZR

Licensed in 1997 as KD5BWB, Ken Rogers officially started his career in “ham” radio in Brandon, MS.  He has worked in various engineering, quality, and management roles in manufacturing producing lighting transformers and electric motors. Currently, he is Plant Manager for Young Touchstone, producer of heat exchanger equipment for Power Generation, Off-road vehicles, and Government applications in Lexington, TN.  He is a 1992 graduate in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Mississippi College. 

His interests have always been related to VHF/UHF, packet and VOIP to ham interfaces and currently assists with the maintenance of nine of the West TN Amateur Radio Society repeaters for which he is the Club's Repeater Trustee. He has served as ASEC or a DEC for West TN since 2002.  

Holding an Extra Class license, AF4ZR, resides in Jackson, TN, with his lovely wife and three daughters. He is currently the Public Information Officer and the webmaster for the West TN Amateur Radio Society.
